Today was my last day working at the Homewood Suites by the Charlotte airport. The fact that I worked there in the first place was random and confusing. My move to Charlotte, NC was a rushed, last minute, decision and I grappled at the first thing that came my way, so that I could have some income on my arrival to my new home.
No matter the setting or how the experience was of working a minimum wage job again - I am SO glad that I did it. It really put things into perspective for me, in how far I have come, with what I have learned. I also loved working there for the interaction of the guests and coworkers. I got to know so many great people! It was an amazing way to make some quick new friends in this new city of mine. It also helped me to network with people and to spread word about my company, Twixmixy Design.
 
BUT... It's time to move on to my next venture and I am ecstatic at the possibilities! So far I have been completely blessed with the amount of people who want to support me in my endeavor. I also want to just give a big "THANK YOU" to Charlotte and the people who live here - You all have been amazing! Thank you for your pre-emptive support, for meeting with me and for encouraging me in this journey! I am having a great time here so far and I look forward to each day I get to be here! If there is ANYTHING I can do for YOU please let me know!
